Membership Renewal & Schedule of charges
All Park memberships are renewed annually beginning April 1st. When renewal season approaches, you will receive an email with an invoice prompting you to renew and pay. You have until April 30th to renew your membership without any penalties. If you choose to renew after April 30th, a $50 fee is due on top of membership dues. After July 1st, any unpaid memberships will be terminated. If you have an open invoice, you will see a floating notification telling you what you owe when you log into the Member portal. If you choose to cancel your membership mid-year, there is no refund of Park dues for that year.
You can change or update your membership within our Member portal.
Our Park
Is a subsidized membership program for eligible neighbors within the membership zones. If you receive government assistance like WIC, SNAP, Medicaid, or Section 8, you may qualify for reduced dues. For more information click here.

Sunnyside Gardens Park is a volunteer-run community association and park; volunteerism fosters our sense of community and is part of what makes our Park special. There are a few paid staff members, chiefly our Park Director, Caretaker, and seasonal Park associates, but our member-volunteers are the engine that makes the Park run! Most membership levels have an annual volunteer hour requirement; Seniors have the option to forgo volunteer hours.
There are calls for volunteers throughout the year. Please visit our volunteer page for more information.
